The clubhouse retains its original charm and character and it almost feels like you are stepping back in time when you take your first strides up the main corridor towards the "Smoking Room".  Portraits of the Past Captains line both sides of the corridor and you instantly start to feel the unique atmosphere of this prestigious venue.

During the winter months a warming open fire greets you as you enter the Smoking Room and there is coffee available in order to give you the perfect start to the day.  

The Dining Room is available for a full breakfast if booked in advance and the lunch is regarded by many as one of the best available at any golf club.  Lunch in the Dining Room is kept for Members and society groups of 12 or more visitors and is included as part of the Society Rate on offer.  Jacket and tie will be required for all groups taking lunch in the Dining Room.

During the summer months, there is a wonderful sheltered patio area for those wishing to enjoy the sunshine.  Drinks can be ordered from the patio and lunch from the Snack Bar can be taken outside if wished.

Those not wishing to change in to a jacket and tie for lunch in the Dining Room can opt to have lunch in the Snack Bar where a more relaxed dress code is accepted.
