Incorporating The St. George’s Champion Grand Challenge Cup and HRH The Prince of Wales Challenge Cup. Recognised by the R&A as a WAGR event.
The South East of England Links Championship, a 72 hole scratch event, will take place at The Royal St George's Golf Club and The Royal Cinque Ports Golf Club from Thursday, 10th May to Saturday, 12th May 2012, with practice rounds on Tuesday, 8th and Wednesday, 9th May 2012.
The Championship entry will be limited to 144 players with a playing handicap of 2 or better. The Championship will be decided by strokes over 4 rounds of 18 holes. One round will be played at The Royal St George’s Golf Club on the Thursday and the second round at The Royal Cinque Ports Golf Club on the Friday. The 40 lowest scores over these 36 holes and any tying for 40th place will qualify for the final 36 holes to be played at The Royal St George’s Golf Club on Saturday, 12th May 2012.
