The South East of England Links Championship

This prestigious tournament incorporates The St. George’s Champion Grand Challenge Cup and HRH The Prince of Wales Challenge Cup. Recognised by the R&A as a WAGR event.
The South East of England Links Championship, a 72 hole scratch event, will take place at The Royal St George's Golf Club and The Royal Cinque Ports Golf Club from Thursday, 5th May to Saturday, 7th May 2016, with practice rounds on Tuesday, 3rd at Royal Cinque Ports and Wednesday, 4th May 2016 at Royal St George's.
The Championship entry is be limited to 144 players with a playing handicap of 2 or better. The Championship will be decided by strokes over 4 rounds of 18 holes. One round will played at The Royal St George's Golf Club on the Thursday and the second round at The Royal Cinque Port's Golf Club on the Friday. The 40 lowest scores over these 36 holes and any tying for 40th place will qualify for the final 36 holes to be played at The Royal St George's Golf Club on Saturday, 7th May 2016.
