Royal St. George`s

The Clubhouse

The unique atmosphere of Royal St George’s is apparent as you approach the Smoking Room. Portraits of past Captains line both sides of the corridor, part of the ambience of the clubhouse which retains its original charm and character. It is almost like stepping back in time.

During the winter months an open fire greets you as you enter the Smoking Room and there is tea/coffee available to give you the perfect start to the day at Royal St George's.

The Dining Room is available for a full breakfast if booked in advance and the lunch is regarded by many as one of the best available at any golf club.  Please check availability of the Dining Room facilities with the Steward prior to your visit.  Jacket and tie will be required for all groups taking lunch in the Dining Room.

During the summer months, there is a sheltered terrace for those wishing to enjoy the sunshine.  Drinks can be ordered and lunch from the Snack Bar can be taken outside if wished.

Those not wishing to change into a jacket and tie for lunch in the Dining Room can opt for the Snack Bar, where a more relaxed dress code is accepted.
