Booking Information & Dress Code

  • All players have a handicap index of 18.4 or less, handicap verification is required upon checking-in on your date of play.
  • Royal St. George’s is a traditional members’ Club where smart attire is expected.
  • Golfing attire is suitable in the Clubhouse before 11:00, but dress shoes must be worn. After 11:00, gentlemen are required to wear a jacket, collared dress shirt, tie, tailored trousers and dress shoes, with ladies asked to observe a comparable standard.
  • On the course and practice areas, smart golfing attire is required. Hoodies, jeans, trainers and tee shirts are not permitted, and men wearing shorts must wear knee-length socks.

Payments

  • Online bookings require full payment
  • Credit Cards and Debit Cards accepted either online or at the Club
  • American Express and Diners Cards are not accepted online
  • All transactions must be made in pounds sterling
  • Cancellations are partially refundable up to six months before the date of play (2026 & 2027)
  • Rounds will not be held as a credit under any circumstances.
  • Full terms and conditions are available before booking either on the booking portal or through the Club Office
